PMG is an independent, employee-owned company providing full-service direct mail production management to nonprofits and agency partners. The PMG Family also includes MMI Direct which provides data processing, data hygiene and data enrichment services, MailSmart Logistics which provides postal logistics services, and The Engage Group, a digital fundraising agency.

• Wage Per Hour: $17
• Schedule: Part-Time
• Hours per week: 15 – 20
• Days Per week: 3 – 5
• Location & Type: Columbia, MD (hybrid in-person/remote)

Responsibilities and Duties

The intern will engage in assignments across all units of The PMG Family with ongoing guidance and supervision by the Senior Vice President of Business Strategy and the Marketing Manager. The intern will receive training in all our practice areas and will participate in various PMG marketing efforts. The intern will also have the opportunity to design their own project(s), such as developing a multi-channel fundraising campaign, performing a digital fundraising program assessment of a nonprofit of their choosing, and conducting market research. Experience working on direct marketing program implementation will provide the intern with the foundational skills and insights for any path in marketing. Qualifications and Skills

Some level of experience with Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Interest working with details. Curiosity, strong communication skills.

Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business, IT, Nonprofit Management, Data Science and Analytics. We are open to any majors, including liberal arts.

Preferred Degrees: Associate, Bachelor’s

College Level: Junior, Senior. We encourage community college students to apply.
