Get Involved

Are you ready to stand shoulder to shoulder with us to promote and protect the nonprofit sector? Here’s how you can get involved to make sure the voice of nonprofits is being heard:

Executive Advocacy Forum

Be an important part of our grassroots lobbying effort. Weigh in with key Members of Congress on issues vital to our sector. Our Vice President of Government Affairs, Mark Micali, does all the leg work to make your participation easy.

To join, email Mark Micali.

Capitol Hill Day

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, you are welcome to join us and will be able to contribute.  In addition to influencing Congressional policy decisions, Hill Days are also a time to get to know colleagues.  Check our calendar of events for an upcoming Hill Day virtual or in-person opportunity.

Government Affairs Committee

Be the first to know of new issues on the horizon. Contribute input on policies. And shape the action plan. The committee includes both nonprofit and corporate representatives. Only the nonprofit members vote to recommend key actions.

To express interest, email Mark Micali.

Legislative Round-Up

The Legislative Round-up is emailed monthly. Read it each month to stay on top of the latest policy issues.  You can find Legislative Round-Ups from past months on our blog.

To be sure you’re receiving our emails, sign up on our home page.

Action Alerts

Keep an eye out on email and our website. On some issues, we need you to weigh in directly with Congress or other agencies.

Remember, once an organization becomes a member, all staff are members of TNPA. And all are invited to participate. If there is someone else who would be right for any of these roles, please encourage them to sign up.

TNPA PAC

The Nonprofit Alliance has a political action committee, or PAC. The PAC operates in a bipartisan manner by supporting federal candidates for office. To get information about the TNPA PAC, contact Mark Micali, TNPA’s Vice President of Government Affairs at mmicali@tnpa.org.
