Jamie Spiva serves as the Interim Chief Development Officer for Houston SPCA. She is a non-profit expert helping organizations create development and communication plans to exceed goals. Her passion for mission-based institutions shines through her efforts resulting in over $300 million raised by her teams during the past two decades. She graduated from Marquette University with a dual major from the Diedrich College of Communication. Jamie prides herself on the diverse types of organizations with which she’s worked, including education, religious and social service agencies, cultural institutions, conservation, and animal welfare groups. Jamie enjoys traveling, reading, and volunteering in the community in her spare time. She shares her home with three Houston SPCA Alumni: two cats, Bunny and Ally Kat, and her dog, Joy.
