Policy Issues
Last Updated on Thursday, October 10, 2024
The TNPA Government Affairs Committee is comprised of TNPA member organizations, including both nonprofits and allied businesses serving nonprofits. The Committee considers public policy issues and makes recommendations to TNPA staff on positions or actions. Final policy dispositions are taken solely upon the majority vote of the committee members representing nonprofit organizations. We advocate for nonprofits not only with legislation but also with other policies that impact nonprofits, like the recent Mastercard regulations and 2021’s Supreme Court decision about donor privacy.
We also provide insights and resources on Board Diversity, Cybersecurity, and Salary Transparency.
