Meet the Summer 2026 Leading EDGE Interns!
After receiving hundreds of student applications, we are so excited to introduce you to Cohort #5 of The Nonprofit Alliance Foundation’s (TNPAF) Leading EDGE Student Internship Program! These amazing students will spend the next ten weeks interning with their host employers and engaging in professional development through Leading EDGE.

Feraol Abera
Internship Host | St. Labre Indian School Educational Association
Feraol Abera graduated from Montgomery College with an Associate of Science in Data Science and has hands-on experience in data analysis and statistical programming. Through experience in data analysis, research, and technology support, Feraol has developed strong analytical and communication skills. This summer, he is excited to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector and apply his passion for data as a Database Support Intern program with the St. Labre Indian School. In his free time, Feraol enjoys learning about emerging technologies, volunteering in his community, and working on personal tech projects.

Ashley Aguilar
Internship Host | Mal Warwick Donordigital
Ashley Aguilar is a rising Junior at George Washington University majoring in Public Health and minoring in Psychology. This summer, she will be interning with Mal Warwick Donordigital through the TNPA Leading EDGE program, where she will support marketing and fundraising efforts while gaining experience in the nonprofit sector. Ashley is passionate about helping others and learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys baking and going to the gym.

Even Estifanos
Internship Host | St. Labre Indian School Educational Association
Even Estifanos is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in computer science with a minor in astronomy. He brings prior experience as a software engineer and data analyst. This summer, Even is interning with St. Labre Indian School, where he’s gaining hands-on experience on real programming, data, and automation projects that directly support our development operations. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing basketball and soccer, and gaming.

Ha Le
Internship Host | K2D Strategies
Ha Le is a recent graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Graphic Design. As a versatile graphic designer and illustrator, Ha focuses on problem-solving and creating impactful digital and print designs that bridge the gap between creative aesthetics and functional results. Through her experiences working with non-profit organizations, she has recognized the value and fulfillment of working alongside communities. This summer, she hopes to continue honing her skills while exploring the non-profit sector more deeply as a Graphic Design Intern at K2D Strategies. Outside of work, Ha enjoys practicing BJJ, reading comics, and creating merchandise.

Ramatou Njoya
Internship Host | The Senior Citizens League
Ramatou Njoya is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Legal and Management Communication at Howard University, with a minor in Economics. Ramatou’s background in public policy, administrative operations, and legal research helps to identify client needs and translate insights into strategic recommendations. This summer, Ramatou will be interning with The Senior Citizens League, where she will apply her communication and strategic skills to support advocacy efforts for senior Americans. Ramatou shares, “I’m passionate about using communication and strategy to drive meaningful impact.”

Andrew Oxenberg
Internship Host | Moore
Andrew Oxenberg is a rising senior from the University of Maryland, College Park studying Computer Science. This summer he will be joining Moore’s Insights team as an Insights Analyst Intern. He is excited to apply his technical skills to meaningful projects and contribute to work that creates a lasting impact. In his free time, Andrew likes to play sports, cook, and play the ukulele.

Sydney Rorke
Internship Host | Humane World Action Fund
Sydney Rorke is a rising senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Classics. This summer, she will serve as a Political Affairs Intern with the Humane World Action Fund. Sydney is passionate about animal welfare and has experience rescuing domestic animals as well as rehabilitating wildlife. She is excited to combine her passion for protecting animals with the opportunity to gain experience in the political and advocacy side of animal protection.

Tianna Schneider
Internship Host | Shatterproof
Tianna Schneider graduated from George Washington University with a BA in Sociology and will be attending graduate school for social work in the Fall. She has a strong interest in supporting nonprofit organizations and improving the wellbeing of communities. This summer she will be interning with Shatterproof as a volunteer engagement intern.

Leah Tejan
Internship Host | Engaging Networks
Leah Tejan is a rising Junior at Towson University, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics. She is passionate about community service towards young students and immigrant children. On campus, Leah serves as a Resident Assistant, Treasurer for the African Diaspora Club, and Marketing Manager in the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices. Outside of academics, Leah enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking pictures, and exploring the field of cosmetology. She will be entering her second year with TNPA as a Strategic Growth Intern with Engaging Networks, and is excited to learn more about nonprofit marketing and continue her journey with TNPA.

Jena Thomson
Internship Host | The Capital Area Food Bank
Jena Thomson is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a degree in Public Health Science. She is passionate about improving community health outcomes and is particularly interested in health equity and population-level well-being. With a strong foundation in public health principles, she hopes to apply her knowledge in mission-driven settings and contribute to work that supports meaningful, community-focused initiatives.

Faruq Yekini
Internship Host | Engaging Networks
Faruq Yekini is a rising junior at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County pursuing a dual major in Information Systems and Financial Economics. This summer, he will be joining Engaging Networks as an intern focusing on operations, client success, and data analysis. He is passionate about data-driven decision-making and business operations. In his free time, he enjoys watching new shows, traveling, and sports.
