Engaging Networks is an integrated digital fundraising and engagement platform used by hundreds of amazing nonprofits in the US and worldwide. Our mission-driven clients use our tools to raise money online, win advocacy campaigns, run Peer-to-Peer fundraising campaigns, manage events, conduct email and SMS marketing, create marketing automation journeys and engage with supporters in targeted, personalized ways.

Wage Per Hour: $17.50
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours per week: 30 – 40 hours/week
Days Per week: 5

Responsibilities and Duties

We seek a dynamic and detail-oriented intern, with good communication and analytical skills, who wants to learn about the nonprofit technology sector while supporting our sales and operations team. The work will include helping to manage our Salesforce database, optimizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting, and improving data quality across our CRM. Specific projects will include: analyzing data for a benchmark report that will be used in multiple marketing channels, supporting our operations team in updating materials across a few of the platforms we use such as Enable.us (a sales enablement tool) and Loopio (a knowledge sharing tool) research new potential partners and other projects as the need arises.

You will gain some familiarity with marketing outreach tools such as MixMax and Hubspot. And, a highlight of our team’s summer is attending the Bridge to Integrated Marketing Conference July 30 – August 1 in Oxon Hill, MD, just outside of Washington DC. You may have the opportunity to attend, help talk to visitors to our booth and experience a professional conference.

• We prefer someone with some Salesforce (software) experience.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess data quality, interpret key metrics, and produce actionable reports.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, capable of documenting processes clearly and summarizing findings effectively.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to data accuracy and consistency.

We especially welcome candidates who pick up new technologies quickly and love data analytics. If you are in the Washington DC area, there will be some opportunities to work from our office in DC.

College experience is actually not required. For those with college experience:
Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, Data Science and Analytics
College Level: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
