Responsibilities and Duties

The Digital Media Intern will work closely with the Digital Media Manager to assist in the execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a focus on fundraising, acquisition, audience targeting, analytics, and paid advertising across various platforms.

Primary responsibilities include: Assisting in the setup and management of digital advertising campaigns, including Google Paid and Grant Ads, social media advertising, and display advertising initiatives, support audience and keyword research to inform search campaign strategies, monitoring campaign performance and contribute to regular optimization efforts, working with internal teams and external partners on tasks such as list buys, budget tracking, and audience targeting, and participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

Candidates should have an interest in nonprofit fundraising and digital media strategy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Basic knowledge of digital advertising platforms, such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager preferred but not required.
