Responsibilities and Duties

As an Insights Analyst Intern, you will support the analytical arm of the Strategy team at CDR, helping uncover actionable insights about donor behavior that inform data-driven fundraising strategies. Working alongside experienced strategists and analysts, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how data shapes campaign planning, execution, and client success. This internship is ideal for students who are curious, analytical thinkers excited to apply their academic skills to real-world work in nonprofit marketing, fundraising, and data analysis.

Skills/Abilities:
• Strong interest in nonprofit fundraising, marketing analytics, or data-driven strategy.
• Foundational knowledge of Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Exposure to statistical concepts such as A/B testing, summary statistics, or basic modeling (coursework included).
• Curiosity about using data to solve problems and tell meaningful stories.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to break down complex ideas clearly.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with programming languages like R, Python, or SQL is a plus (not required).
• Interest in CRM or database systems is helpful but not necessary.

Education:
• Pursuing a degree in mathematics, marketing, economics, social sciences, data analytics, or a related field.

College Level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
