Mal Warwick Donordigital is a fundraising and marketing firm working with progressive nonprofits committed to social justice and environmental action. In partnership with our nonprofit clients, we work to combat the climate crisis and seek to protect the natural environment; we help provide relief to people in Ukraine, Gaza, and many other places around the world; we advance the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, the immigrant community, and communities who are marginalized; we fight racial injustice and discrimination; we improve healthcare and food security; we work to help save public media; and propel the advancement of animal rights. From regional nonprofits to large national organizations, MWD’s mission to support progressive causes, candidates, and political committees working to make the world a better and more just place for all inhabitants has endured for over four decades.

Schedule: Part-Time
Hours per week: 16
Days Per week: 2 eight-hour days or 4 four-hour days
Location & Type: Washington, DC (Hybrid Onsite/Remote)

Responsibilities and Duties

Our internship is an exciting way to receive a 360-view of the fundraising and marketing world for progressive nonprofits. We are able to tailor our internship work to fuel your specific interests. From creative work like asset gathering, copywriting, and drafting presentations, to project budgeting and updating our statistics and analytics dashboard, we offer opportunities to fully immerse yourself in our rewarding work. You will gain valuable professional experience as part of a collaborative team, learning our project management tools and leveraging our AI tools.

Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Business, Nonprofit Management, Data Science and Analytics, Journalism, English, Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, or similar

College Level: Junior, Senior
