Engaging Networks is a Software-as-a-Service platform used by mainly large nonprofit organizations for online fundraising, marketing and advocacy. We’re proud to partner with over 400 inspiring organizations globally, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Campaign, PETA, World Wildlife Fund, National Geographic Society, Sierra Club, Humane World for Animals (formerly known as Humane Society of the United States), Oxfam and Cancer Research UK.

Wage Per Hour: $17.95
Schedule: Full-Time

Location & Type: Washington, DC (Hybrid Onsite/Remote)

Responsibilities and Duties

The intern will work with our Client Success team on a wide set of operations-focused tasks and projects, including account management administration, product communications support, and planning for our Fall Engaging Networks Community Conference (in Washington, DC). The intern may do some analysis projects to better understand the specific ways our clients are using (or not using) the many tools we provide to them. The intern will interact a lot with our Support team (who provide tech support to our clients), our Account Services team (who strategically coach clients in how to maximize success using our tools), and our head of E-Learning, responsible for our video curriculum (EN Academy) and searchable knowledge base (the Supportal). The intern may help gather and summarize client feedback to inform our Product team, thereby informing prioritization of new products and features to add to our Technology Roadmap.

We prefer candidates who have a demonstrated record of diving into new work opportunities and learning quickly, taking the initiative, asking lots of questions and delivering on the projects entrusted to them. Beyond this, we are looking for strong team players who care about their co-workers and strengthen our team culture. Because our clients are all nonprofits, we prefer candidates who have shown more than a casual interest in working with mission-driven, social impact organizations that are trying to make a better world.

Other Qualifications: 1) A positive, can-do attitude; 2) a strong work ethic; 3) Total integrity and honesty; 4) A desire to have fun while pursuing your profession; 5) Strong operational and administrative skills with a proven record of high attention to detail

Preferred Majors: Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, Nonprofit Management, Data Science and Analytics

College Level: We do not require our employees, or interns, to have a college degree or even to have attended college.
