Last fall, The Nonprofit Alliance Foundation announced the Jennifer Bielat Legacy Scholarship Fund, established in memory of our esteemed board member and industry advocate, Jennifer Bielat. Today we proudly invite applications for scholarships that will cover registration and travel expenses for emerging leaders to attend the Rising Leaders Summit in Philadelphia on October 17.

This premier event is tailored for mid-level managers and aspiring executives who:

  • Have a strong foundation of tactical skills
  • Are recognized as subject matter experts
  • Lead teams or manage direct reports
  • Are eager to develop strategic planning skills and think big

Scholarship Details

We are reserving four seats for the inaugural Jennifer Bielat Legacy Scholarship Fund Awardees. Each scholarship includes:

  • Full registration to the summit
  • Up to two nights’ hotel stay
  • A $200 travel stipend to offset plane or train fare (depending on travel distance)

Eligibility and Application

Professionals from both nonprofit organizations and commercial partners are encouraged to apply. Jennifer’s career exemplified the power of collaboration between nonprofits and expert service providers. With over two decades at Easterseals, Inc., and her role as Executive Vice President of Client Strategy at Pursuant, Jennifer’s legacy highlights the importance of partnerships in driving success.

To apply, please complete this form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting August 20. We recommend submitting your application by this date for the best chance of selection. Applications will remain open until all four scholarships are awarded.

Awards are non-transferable and must be used in the year awarded. Additional costs incurred to attend and participate in the event are the responsibility of the attendee. Eligibility for a Jennifer Bielat Legacy Scholarship does not guarantee a scholarship award.
