Responsibilities and Duties

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Digital Strategy Intern to assist the digital strategy team in the execution of online campaigns aimed at acquiring, cultivating, retaining, and upgrading donors for nonprofit clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and contribute to various digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, social media, and fundraising strategies, while working in a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate must be passionate about digital marketing, nonprofit work, and emerging fundraising trends.

•Assist in the development and execution of digital strategies for nonprofit clients to meet fundraising and engagement goals.
•Support in creating and producing client performance reports, analyzing campaign results, and providing insights to inform future strategies.
•Help coordinate and manage the communications calendar, ensuring all digital campaigns align with client objectives.
•Collaborate with writers, designers, advertising strategists, and technical experts to create and implement digital campaigns.
•Assist in quality control of digital assets, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in all materials.
•Participate in research and support vendor negotiations, including helping route and finalize contracts.
•Attend internal meetings and provide updates on project progress and client needs.
•Assist in tracking project timelines to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
•Perform other duties as assigned to support the digital strategy team.

Required Skills/Abilities:
•Strong interest in digital marketing, online fundraising, and nonprofit work.
•Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities.
•Comfortable working with data and leveraging insights to improve campaign strategies.
•Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•A customer-service-oriented attitude, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

Education and Experience:
•Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent.
•Some experience (internships or part-time work) in digital marketing, online fundraising, or nonprofit work is a plus, especially in areas such as email campaigns, social media, or digital acquisition channels is a plus.
•Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google AdWords, CMS, web editing software) is a plus.
•An interest in developing skills in online fundraising and digital direct response marketing strategies is highly encouraged.
