Speaker Bios
Vivian Nartey, Marketing Intern/Account Coordinator | Concord Direct
Vivian Nartey recently graduated from Manhattan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, concentrating in Sports Media Production. During her time at Manhattan, she was deeply involved in campus leadership and student engagement, serving as President of the Black Student Union, participating as a Mock Trial Attorney, and working as a Production Assistant for ESPN.
Vivian also serves on the Board of Directors of Truth Initiative as a Youth Board Liaison. Since joining the organization in 2022, she has been a youth ambassador, contributing to its mission of preventing youth and young adult nicotine addiction. Her experience with Truth Initiative sparked a broader interest in the nonprofit sector and the many ways professionals work behind the scenes to advance meaningful causes.
Vivian joined Concord Direct in June 2025 after beginning her journey with the company as a Summer Intern through The Nonprofit Alliance Leading Edge program, designed to introduce college students to impactful careers in the nonprofit sector. She was especially drawn to the agency’s collaborative culture and the opportunity to work with talented professionals across a variety of disciplines within the non-profit space. Since then, she has learned from several departments, including marketing, creative services, digital strategy, and more. She is passionate about continuing to develop her skills while helping nonprofit organizations strengthen their missions and connect with their supporters.
Outside of work, Vivian enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. After studying abroad in Barcelona in 2024, she developed a passion for international travel and hopes to continue exploring destinations throughout Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and watching Formula 1!
