Will Valverde’s family moved from Mexico when he was very young to California, where he grew up. He majored in English with a creative writing emphasis at Stanford, and after moving to San Francisco became increasingly involved in issue advocacy and decided to focus on serving nonprofits. Will has done agency work for nearly twenty years supporting digital advocacy, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofits. In his current role at M+R, Will develops strategy and creative concepts, writes and edits copy, and trains and mentors staff. He is also the lead writer of their annual M+R Benchmarks Study (mrbenchmarks.com).
