Bio:
Pam Knott has worked in the nonprofit data operations space for more than 15 years. After graduating from Florida State University with a BA in Humanities, she started her career in human resources at American University. Following a stint in Special Education, Pam joined the fundraising team at the American Red Cross where she focused on prospect research and reporting. This opportunity led to her growing interest in data and, eventually, the role of the manager of the org-wide data conversion project. For the past 8 years, Pam has been with The ALS Association, starting as the Manager of Chapter Development Operations and working her way to building and leading a new team of Data and Technology. Having a strong philanthropic mission has been the main driver of her career path. She prioritizes building programs and cultures that enable staff growth, DEI, and innovation. She lives in DC with her husband and cat.
