Dustin Kight helps nonprofits raise money and engage supporters online through his work at M+R, a professional services firm that only works with nonprofits. He has been there for 11 years. Dustin started in the most junior role and now, as a VP, is in senior leadership. Dustin spends about half of his time leading client teams and the other half helping run the firm. Prior to M+R, he worked for three years at AIDS Action Committee of MA in a general marketing /communications role. Prior to that, he worked as a program associate and then communications manager for Family Equality Council (a community building and advocacy organization for LGBTQ-parented families). Dustin studied political science at Vassar College, focusing on social movements. Through his jobs and clients, Dustin has been exposed to most aspects of nonprofit work, though his expertise is in digital marketing.
